Blackmoor joined World Record Attempt by Ginger Golf

Today, we welcomed Josh Simpson to Blackmoor Golf Club - AKA Ginger Golf. Josh is attempting to break the World Record for the most 18-hole golf courses played in a single year! Each course must be 18-holes and playing over 6,000 yards.

Blackmoor was number 574 in his 'Quest for 581', and the current World Record stands at 580. Josh is hoping to break this figure by playing more than 650 courses - and is on target to smash the record in just a few days.. 

Raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and Tapping House, Josh has raised more than £30,000 so far, which will be shared equally between the two charities.

Prior to his round, Josh was joined by Club Captain Jon Munday who wished him well, and golfers Jamie Kapadia and Dan Shepherd who made up a three-ball.
